Who Runs TangguhPria and How We Review

TangguhPria is an editorial project based in Makassar, focused on natural supplements for men sold in Indonesia. We read labels, registration records and retail listings, then write up what we find. That is the whole operation.

We are not a store, a brand, or a review farm. We do not sell the products we cover, and no page here is written to move stock.

The team behind the site

A small editorial group works on this site out of Jl. Pettarani No. 9 in Rappocini, Makassar. Between us we have spent years following the Indonesian supplement market as buyers, which is where most of our skepticism comes from. We have ordered products that arrived with unclear labels, and products that matched their listings exactly. Both experiences shaped how we write.

Nobody here is a brand ambassador. We buy most of what we look at ourselves, and when a sample comes from somewhere else we say so in the write-up. When a product page or a comparison entry gets checked, the note travels with it.

You can reach us at +62 411 431 536 or [email protected]. Corrections are welcome and get read — usually within a working day. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00.

Format is the first thing we write down — a capsule, a softgel and a tablet ask different things of a daily routine, and the label usually tells you which one you are buying.

How we research a product

Every product page or comparison entry starts with the primary documents. If we cannot open the source, the claim does not run.

We begin with the manufacturer's own ingredient panel, the published specifications, and the listing exactly as it appears in Indonesian retail. From those three documents we check serving sizes, the amounts actually listed per serving, and what sits in the blend versus what the front label chooses to emphasise. If the boldest number on the front is the serving count and not the ingredient, that discrepancy goes in the write-up.

If a claim only exists in marketing copy and nowhere in the product documentation, we say so plainly. That is not a verdict on the product; it is a note on what could be checked and what could not.

Longstanding names change how a reader arrives at a page but not how we weigh it. When a product has been on shelves for years under the same name, we treat that reputation as context, not as evidence. A familiar label still has to show its panel.

What we compare, and what we ignore

Ingredient density, format, and daily-use fit answer most of the questions a buyer actually arrives with. Density is what the panel lists per serving, converted to a plain comparison so two products can sit next to each other. Format is whether it is a capsule, a softgel, a tablet, or a powder, and how many pieces a day that means. Daily-use fit is the honest question of whether the routine survives a normal working week.

We ignore launch hype, limited-time framing, and anything that reads like a promise about your body. That means you will not find dramatic transformation stories here. You will find panels, formats, and notes on who each product seems built for.

Notes we keep open

  • Ingredient panel The listed amounts per serving, transcribed without rounding up.
  • Registration record What the product is filed as, and whether the file still stands.
  • Retail listing The page a buyer actually lands on, saved with the date we read it.
  • Reformulation checks Re-read on a schedule, because panels change quietly.

Why we cover both mainstream and specialty products

The men's vitamin category in Indonesia runs from supermarket names to specialty imports. Ignoring either end would make the site less useful — a reader might be deciding between a familiar brand on a normal shelf and a higher-potency import, and that comparison deserves a straight answer. Sports-positioned formulas matter too, because that shelf is where a lot of younger buyers start.

Our editorial standards

Traceable to the source

Every claim points at a document

A statement about what is inside a product has to trace back to an ingredient panel or a registration record. Where it does not, the sentence gets cut rather than softened with hedging language.

Sourced or omitted

No ratings we cannot point to

Testimonials and ratings do not appear on this site unless we can identify the exact source and read it ourselves. A score with no origin is not evidence, and we would rather leave the space empty than fill it with something we cannot stand behind.

No outcome promises

Product information, not promises

No page here claims a result for you. What we describe is what a formula contains, what format it arrives in, and how it fits into a normal day. Anything a supplement might do for you is a question for a qualified professional who knows your situation — not for a review desk, and not for a label.

Corrections and updates

Supplements get reformulated. Registrations lapse. Retail listings are edited without notice. When we learn that a panel has changed, we update the page and note the change at the top of the entry, with the date we re-read it.

If you spot something wrong, email us with the product name and what you found — a photo of the panel helps more than a description of it. We would rather publish a correction than leave a stale page up, and we would rather hear it from a reader than find it a year later.

How we handle commercial relationships

We do not run affiliate links or commission arrangements on product comparisons. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page itself, in plain sight, and not tucked into a footer paragraph.

Advertising, if any appears on the site, does not decide what gets covered or how a formula is described. What gets written up is decided by the panels we can read, not by who is buying space.

Get in touch

Questions, corrections and partnership notes all go to the same inbox, and we read everything that arrives. We reply when a message needs one. For press or business inquiries, mention that in the subject line so it reaches the right pair of hands.

If your question is about a specific formula, include the product name and the format you bought — it saves a round of email and usually gets you a faster answer.
